This is my son, Caleb, (when he was 8 months old), sound asleep ... actually LAUGHING in his sleep, hugging his little blanket, made from this special fabric. He was wrapped securely in the "full amour of God", a quilt comprised of all the scriptures found in Ephesians 6. His sleep, was truly peaceful, because the Lord held him safely to Him, (Psalm 4:8). The Lord allowed me to make a wonderful memory from the very first quilt I made.
This unforgettable photo inspired the vision for our unique line of Scripture Quilts. After seeing God's blessing on what I had made for my son, and having friends request more than a dozen for their own children, I decided to create SonShine Scripture (TM) Quilt Kits for other mothers. I teamed up with the BluePrint Printables, a company that makes a 100% pre-shrunk cotton fabric that is treated with non-toxic chemicals similar to the blueprint paper used in construction. When you expose this fabric to light it changes to a rich blue color.
